SAEMO

Client: SAEMO
Category: Brand Identity, Creative Direction, Social Media
Photography: Calvin Khurniawan
SAEMO was created by Creative Director Arnold Byun (Atomix, Eleven Madison Park, Soho House) and Culinary Director Kyungbin Min (Hanchic, Little Sister, Kali). The two wanted to present an elevated takeout concept.

The Korean-American takeout restaurant whose name means "triangle," is inspired by its uniquely angular, triangular interior layout. The concept of three sides runs through the entire experience, with a minimalist menu featuring three mains, three sides, and three sauces. Each dish is a fusion of bold Korean flavors and American comfort, designed to let diners mix and match their ideal trio.

To reinforce the philosophy of balance, choice, and harmony in three’s, the triangular philosophy appears throughout the brand experience, from triangular motifs in menus, angular light wall light fixtures, to restaurant wayfinding.
